Welcome to The Chemo Club
The Chemo Club was born after my mom, Andrea, was diagnosed with cancer just as I graduated from University. One phone call changed everything. In an instant, I became a caregiver, chauffeur, cook, advocate, and daughter trying to hold it all together. I felt overwhelmed, underprepared, and completely alone.
In the chaos, I searched for support — but everything felt cold, clinical, and disconnected from the reality I was living. That’s when I decided: enough is enough.
What started as a personal journey has grown into a movement. Because the truth is, more young people are being diagnosed with cancer at an unprecedented rate — and no one’s talking about why. At The Chemo Club, we’re committed to changing that. We’re here to ask the hard questions, disrupt outdated systems, and fight for a future that understands, supports, and protects the next generation.
The Chemo Club is a space built for you — the fighters, the caregivers, the daughters, the survivors. Whether you’re navigating your first infusion or your hundredth question, we’re here to stand in your corner — with resources, clean-living guidance, relatable advice, and people who truly get it.
We may not have all the answers, but we have each other. And that means everything.
Fighting with you, for you, and beside you.
xoxo,
Alexandra O’Brien Roualdes
